Department of Watershed Management Issues Irrigation System Reminder
Via the Department of Watershed Management -- The Department of Watershed Management reminds its customers that irrigation systems should be shut down when the temperatures drop below freezing to prevent overspray from freezing on sidewalks and streets and causing accidents/injuries. Irrigation systems installed after 2007 must by law have rain sensors that shut the system down when it is raining or when temperatures fall below 32 degrees F.
