ATLANTA, GA, June 14, 2011 – For the entire month of June, Morgan Stanley Smith Barney  will encourage, recognize and reward employees for volunteering in their local community. All its  employees in Atlanta, close to 400, are encouraged to get out, volunteer their time and help their community.

On the first day of the month, employees from Petra Wealth Management Group at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney spent the day stocking the food pantry and preparing food to be donated at the Buckhead Christian Ministry (BCM) on Peachtree Road. BCM provides emergency assistance to families and individuals in crisis. The organization places special emphasis on preventing homelessness through education and the provision of food, clothing and financial assistance with rent and utilities.
