ATLANTA -- 11Alive has named its six 2013 Kids Who Care winners.

The outstanding Atlanta-area teens were recently honored with $1,100 scholarships and certificates of excellence. A TV special dedicated to their many accomplishments will air on 11Alive Saturday, June 22 at 7:30 p.m.

Meet the Kids Who Care:

Tiffani Alexander, Covington
Tiffani is homeschooled and works with abused children in Rockdale County, helping them find ways to channel their feelings into something positive.

Zack Eller, Milton
Zack recently graduated from Milton High School. He founded Woof 'em Down, a non-profit that makes dog biscuits, and uses the proceeds to help homeless pets.

Jason Gresham, Atlanta
Jason attends Carver Early College High School in southeast Atlanta. He has logged 200 community service hours with LEAD, a non-profit that teaches inner-city children life skills through baseball.

Kyle Mercer, Kennesaw
Kyle attends Harrison High School and founded Mercer Maniacs, a mentoring program for deaf and hard-of-hearing children.

Kaci Pollack, Acworth
Kaci attends Allatoona High School and founded a teen chapter of A Crystal Stair, an organization that provides necessities to the homeless.

Bridget Reyes, Marietta
Bridget just graduated from Marietta High School and serves two organizations that encourage Hispanic students to stay in school and eventually go on to college.
