Kroger warms customers of possible spam emails

ATLANTA – Recently, Kroger sent their Kroger Plus customers’ a letter explaining that “someone outside of the company” had tapped into their data base and obtained customers’ names and email addresses.

According to Kroger, the data base contained names and email addresses of customers who voluntarily provided their names and email addresses to Kroger.

GRANT PARK: New additions to Zoo Atlanta Ape Family

GRANT PARK: New additions to Zoo Atlanta Ape Family

ATLANTA - The year 2011, according to the Chinese calendar, is the year of the rabbit. According to some, rabbits are seen as being one of the most fertile mammals in the animal kingdom; thus, making 2011, the year of fertility.

At Zoo Atlanta, Blaze, a 15-year-old Sumatran orangutan and Kudzoo, a 17-year-old lowland silverback gorilla are proving that, perhaps, the Chinese calender is correct.

Blaze and 32-year-old, male orangutan Benny are expecting their infant, sometime between November and December.

While Kudzoo, the firstborn of the legendary Zoo Atlanta gorilla Willie B. is expected to deliver her infant in late April or early May. Veterinary teams have been monitoring Kudzoo, very closely, due to her recent miscarriage.
