One of the key elements of City of Atlanta, Wells Fargo NeighborhoodLIFT event will be the fabulous home tours. This is a golden opportunity for potential home buyers to ride along and see the variety of properties for sale in the City of Atlanta. Tour buses will be operating on both days of the event, which is February 10Th and 11Th at the Georgia World Congress Center. On the tour, you'll be able to see properties on the north, south, east and west side of the city. And take note of the City's NSP (Neighborhood Stabilization Program) homes. Why? These properties typically have new kitchens (including new, stainless steel appliances), new paint and flooring plus lots of other upgrades. You don't have to do anything to fix up an NSP property. All you need to do is move in.
Invest Atlanta (formerly Atlanta Development Authority),a key partner of the Wells Fargo NeighborhoodLIFT home buyer event, will have staff on hand to help families and individuals qualify for thousands of dollars in down payment assistance grants.
Keep in mind, this event is not for investors. In order to qualify for a NeigbhorhoodLIFT home loan and down payment assistance, the home you choose must be your primary residence.
