The restaurant that has been “serving up smiles” for over 25 years is a one stop shop when it comes to everyone’s summertime favorite. They are open seven days a week and boast a lunch and dinner menu with  full bar. The restaurant is located at 25 Irby Avenue in Atlanta.

Slopes, which has five locations in the metro Atlanta area is known as a “staple in the Roswell community”. The stores are independently run however; the flavor is consistent, across the board. Most menu items are under $10.

According to some, MF Sushibar is the “best sushi restaurant in the city, hands down”. Although many complain that the sushi is pricey, according to, a number of, Yelp reviewers the quality of the sushi can’t be beat in the Atlanta area. In addition to the actual sushi, restaurant goers enjoy the ambiance of the restaurant more than anything. The restaurant has a location in Buckhead and in the Old Fourth Ward. The restaurant is located at 265 Ponce de Leon Avenue in Atlanta.

Nori Nori has, according to some, the best sushi buffet in Atlanta.

ATLANTA – There are tons of fun events going on this weekend, in your area. We’ve listed a few of them for you to check out with your family and friends.

Come out to the Taste of the Highlands, tickets sales end on May 13 at noon but the festival starts on Saturday, May 14 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. in the Highlands. This year, participants can enjoy local favorites like La Travola, Murphy’s, El Taco, Atkins Parks, Rosebud, DBA Barbecue, Goin’ Costal and Barefoot Wine. For more information visit them online.

The Kirkwood Spring Fling and Tour of Homes/5K Road Race will begin on Saturday, May 14 and continue until May 15. This is Kirkwood’s ninth annual festival; the festival features an open air artist market, a concert, a children’s area, food vendors and plenty of fellowship with neighbors. ATLANTA – There are tons of fun events going on this weekend, in your area. We’ve listed a few of them for you to check out with your family and friends.

Join 11Alive and the Atlanta Humane Society for the 21st Annual Pet Parade on Saturday, May 7. The parade starts at Piedmont Park at 11:00 a.m. and features 11Alive’s own, John Gerard and Chesley McNeil as the Grand Marshalls. Registration for pets starts at 9:00 a.m. and the event ends around 1:00 p.m. Registration for a pet and a parent is $35, on Saturday morning. Piedmont Park is located at 1071 Piedmont Avenue in Atlanta.

Revolutionary hip-hop duo, Dead Prez will headline a concert at Masquerade on Friday, May 6. The two-some, composed of stic.man and M-1 are known for their “raw” and “in-your-face” style of lyricism.

ATLANTA -- Happy Friday! Celebrate the start of the weekend with a half-price however-you-want-it Frappuccino from Starbucks.

On May 6, participating Starbucks stores will hold the first Frappuccino Happy Hour from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. All flavors and sizes of the popular blended coffee drink are half-price during Happy Hour.

Starbucks is also bringing back two coconut drinks for summer.

The Mocha Coconut Frappuccino is a signature flavor in the chain's Hawaii stores.

ATLANTA, Ga. – This week, Dinners on a Dime features local Cinco de Mayo eats. Every Tuesday Where U Live will choose four favorite eats in your area for you to take your family and friends for a fabulous meal, under $20.

It’s almost Cinco de Mayo in Atlanta and Noche is the place to be. The restaurant will be hosting a block party and offering $5 select tapas, $3 draught Dos Equis, $5 Cuervo margaritas, $7 Sinless Margaritas and $2 Tacatas. Noche is a popular Spanish restaurant amongst ITP dwellers. Visit the restaurant at 1000 Virginia Avenue NE in Atlanta or at its Vinings and Brookhaven locations.

Meehan’s Public House will also host a party at their downtown location. All drinks will be on special for $6 except the margarita which is $7. Select meals will be on special, all night.

Atlanta by Air, Inc. will be conducting daily aerial sightseeing tours of the Atlanta skyline and key landmarks for up to three passengers. Go see classic rock icons, WAR, at the Fiesta Atlanta: Cinco De Mayo Celebration at Centennial Olympic Park. The fifth annual festival will be a day-long festival of Latino culture, music, arts, crafts and children’s activities. Centennial Olympic Park is located at 285 International Boulevard.
